It's my last week of term as of Monday, therefore I am avoiding my excessive amounts of work to play on teh interwebs. 

Nothing much is up with me lately, I'm working hard at school, working hard at work and using my DS to work hard at learning Japanese while I'm on the bus in between school at work.  It's kind of embarrassing to play hit the gopher when the gophers are all holding up signs that say bathroom in Japanese and there are Japanese students standing nearby making me self conscious about them reading over my shoulder, but hey, at least I'm learning.

And I found something to talk to D with at school.  We were suffering from excessive amounts of awkward silence between bouts of polite chit chat but it turns out that she's watched Hana Yori Dango and thinks MatsuJun is very attractive.  Since then our conversations have become much more comfortable - though I think she was seriously surprised that I knew the name of MatsuJun's band.  Her eye's went all wide and said I knew a lot more than she expected.  I told her I knew because I'd seen one of Nino's dramas as well; somehow I was just too embarrassed to tell her I was an obsessive fan girl.

Oh, and I got my JE Hols assignment!  Yay!  I actually know the requested pairings.  Hell, I'm a fan of the requested pairings.  I'm so relieved and so very very happy.  I was scared I was going to get another unknown (to me) band but YATTA!  I think I may actually succeed with minimum freaking out this year.  :D  I'm going to try and get most of it done during my week off.

It feels like forever since I've commented or posted anything on LJ.  Vacation care is over and I'm back at school on Monday, though thankfully the upcomming semester doubles the amout of time I get to spend at work (Yay for money!).

I just got back from seeing the Star Trek movie with my dad.  I thought I'd missed my chance to see it at the cinemas.  I'm on such a high from actually getting to see it.  EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! It was so good. I have 8 years of Star Trek in DVD box sets and I'm in such a mood to crack them out and watch them all. :D

But I'm also in a mood to write a quick one shot.  Anyone want to prompt me?

Massu is having a butai and I wanna go!

I know I say that every time someone has a show on but I reaaaaally want to go. Look at the pictures with his cute little hat and his Massu-style fashion conundrum. It's adorable! Plus his Osaka shows are the 26 - 30 of November and I officially finish school on the 27 of November (though if I'm realistic it'll probably be a week earlier).

So I checked out my money situation and thanks to being a student with no time to go out spending money and my dad insisting on paying for my computer, I actually have a decent amount saved up. Like enough to pay for next semester at school, the airfares to Osaka and a fair bit for accommodation etc. I could actually do this.

I was saving up for a car, but I won't really need one until I finish my course, which isn't for another year yet. So I think I might actually go to Japan! *exciting*

I'd have to spend the next few months studying the language properly. Goodness knows I suck at it at the moment, but at least I'd have good motivation to keep up with my lessons. It would be so much better if I went to the butai and was actually able to understand what they were saying :P

So here is my question:  How do I go about getting a ticket to the butai??

I spent the whole long weekend flipping out about getting assignments done and didn't have it done in time.  I was so worried and I told my teacher straight out at the start of the lesson that I was really behind.  But it turns out that we had the entire day to finish everything off.  And when I was done, I got to go home early.  And the group assignment? Simple, easy and finished in five minutes.

I was a huge tense wad of nervousness and it turns out that there was nothing to worry about.  I feel like dancing. :D

And so, with an evening to myself and nothing to do with it, I've decided to take Triv's advice.  I'm a'gunna go and write myself a little something.  I like this whole idea of doing something for me.  *huggles Triv for having a love high*

And randomly, This amuses me. 
It's so cute that Ryo wanted to grow up to be a storybook writer.  *huggles chibi Ryo*  And Shige wants to be reincarnated as a Tasmanian Devil because they're an endangered species.  I have to adore Shige for picking an Aussie animal (and a snarky animal at that) but Massu pwns them all for wanting to be reincarnated as a god!  I'd worship him.

And in the first one they measured the boy's arms.  Now if I was a really freaky fan, I could do things with that information (because I remember what my art teacher taught me about body parts and proportions and the rumours that floated around at school, and I'm fairly certain I could get some near-acurate numbers if I bothered to do the math).  Lucky for them I'm not a freaky fan - and that I couldn't be bothered doing maths today. XP

This is all probably too much information but I feel the need to whinge.  Sorry.
I am sick of feeling sick.  I've had the same cold for well over a month now.  It just doesn't go away and it seems to have bought back a stomach problem that I had when I was a kid.  I thought I'd grown out of it, but apparently not.  It's a problem with my stomach lining that makes me want to hurl if I eat more than three bites of food.  (My mother keeps complaining that I'm getting too skinny and there is nothing I can do to shut her up D: )  I'm living off many small and well spaced snacks.  It's making me feel horrible in the mornings but it passes by the afternoon so my step-dad just scowls when ever he finds out I didn't go to school because as far as he can tell, I'm faking it.

I took the day off school yesterday because I felt disgusting.  I meant to do my schoolwork from home but really I just ended up reading epic ftw junno smut and trying to write for big bang challange.  I figured I'd go into school today and figure out the things that I'd missed but I felt even worse this morning.  So here I am, at 8am (when I should be on the bus), still in my pjs and updating LJ because moving around too much makes me want to hurl.  I would go back to bed but I have to try and get in to my afternoon photoshop class - the end of semester 'quiz' is today.  It should be fairly simple but if I skip it, I fail.

Also, I've been friended twice by the same person who had nothing on their LJ but a testimonial on how some wonderful get-rich-quick scheme worked for her.  I thought that meant that spam bots had LJs now.  But I just double checked and the testimonials have been removed.  Now there are no entries on there what so ever.  So maybe it's not a spam bot but it is the second time they've friended me and I'm not on their list of friends, which makes me think she'll do it again.  Hmmmmm.  I really have no idea what to think about that.  Is anyone else getting randomly friended by this vakevtoevto  person?
